Privately held investment firm ยท United Kingdom

Acquire. Build. Evolve.

Vicerit Holdings is a privately held investment firm based in the UK, specialising in the acquisition of established businesses in waste management, recycling and healthcare transport. We build lasting value by working side by side with owners, management teams and investors.

Who we are

Our approach is simple. We buy good businesses, build on what their owners created, and keep them for the long term.

We look for well-run, profitable companies with room to grow. We sharpen the operation, modernise the systems and open up new opportunities, so the business can grow without losing the people and reputation that made it successful.

We are an independent, privately held firm with no fund deadline to meet. That lets us take our time, structure deals around the seller and keep every conversation confidential from the first call to completion.

Our approach

How we create lasting value.

Three principles guide every business we own, from the first conversation with the seller to the years that follow.

Acquire.

Buy with care

We acquire established, profitable companies from owners planning succession or retirement. Fair terms, clear communication and a handover agreed with you, at a pace that suits the business.

Build.

Invest in the foundations

We build on strong foundations. We develop the team, strengthen customer relationships and reinvest where it makes the business more resilient and ready to grow.

Evolve.

Modernise with technology

We bring practical technology and AI into day-to-day operations: smarter route planning and scheduling, digital compliance records, automated billing and clearer reporting. Less paperwork, better decisions.

Our focus areas

Essential services.
Established businesses.

We invest in sectors we understand: regulated, local and providing services people rely on every day. Waste management and recycling sit at the centre of our strategy.

01 Primary focus

Waste management, recycling and sustainability

Waste is collected whatever the economy is doing. Skip hire, commercial collections, transfer stations, materials recovery and specialist waste are businesses with permitted sites, loyal customers and work that has to be done every week. As regulation tightens and landfill costs rise, more material is moving towards recycling, and well-run regional operators are in a strong position.

For business owners

A change of ownership. A sense of continuity.

What stays the same

  • Your people. We intend to keep the team and their terms. They are a large part of why we are buying.
  • Your name. In almost every case it stays, on the vehicles, the invoices and the front door.
  • Your customers. The same people, the same service, the same phone numbers.
  • Your say. Stay involved in a role and for a period we agree together.

What we bring

  • Drive and genuine care. We do not buy a business to sit on it. We put our time, energy and heart into growing it, and we look after the people who built it.
  • Transformation. We take a business that already works and make it even stronger: a sharper operation, clearer direction and a plan for the next decade, built with the team who know it best.
  • Innovation, with AI at its core. Modern systems, automation and AI tools that take repetitive work off your team: smarter routing and scheduling, faster billing and clearer reporting.
  • Room to grow. New customers, contracts and locations, built on the reputation you created.
  • A clear succession plan, agreed with you before completion, so your team knows exactly what comes next.

What to expect

Your business. Your pace.

We know this is more than a transaction. It represents years of early starts, difficult decisions and people you care about. From the first conversation you will deal directly with the people making the decisions, everything stays confidential, and nothing moves faster than you are comfortable with. We aim to complete within six to twelve months, working alongside your own advisers to get every detail right.

  • In confidence from day one

Your staff, customers and competitors hear nothing until you are ready.

  • Straight answers

Honest views on value and timing, and no surprises late in the process.

  • A handover planned with you

Your role, your timetable and your team, agreed before completion.

Before you sell

Questions owners ask us.

A few practical points worth discussing with your accountant or adviser before approaching a buyer. See all questions

What should I prepare for a first discussion?

A short description of the business, the last three years of accounts and an idea of your preferred timing are enough to start. Detailed customer and staff information can wait until a confidentiality agreement is in place.

How much of the business depends on me?

Write down the decisions, relationships and approvals that currently sit with you. It gives a buyer a clearer picture of the handover and shows where the team will need support.

Will my staff know I am talking to a buyer?

Not unless you choose to tell them. Early conversations are confidential, and we agree with you when and how the team is told.

In confidence

Want to work with us?
